Minutes of the Friends of Turkey Run and Shades
Jan. 20,2005

The friends met at 6.15 for a pitch-in dinner followed
by the meeting.
Present were Glen Summers,Mike Moloney, Peggy Foster,
Dave Burns, Rich Scott, Carol Scott,Donald McBride,
Bea McBride, Ken Jamsa, Jean Jamsa, Karen Staub and
Barbara Cummings.

The treasurer reported      in the treasury. She
reminded us that 2005 dues are due.

We discussed programs for next year and a program
committee was formed. Ken Jamsa, Rich Scott and Karen
Staub agreed to serve. Rich also agreed to chair the
erradication program in the spring.

We would like to form other committees so that the
board meeting doesn't have to function as a committee
of the whole.

Ken will check with Tim Dibble as to our 501c status.
Mike Moloney reported that our web page is up and
running. We need an easy way to google it. Our thanks
to him for his initiative in this project.

Peggy reported on the highly successful t-shirt
effort. Several colors are available. We will place
another order soon.

Glen will be presenting a maple syrup program at
Billie Creek on Saturday, the 29th. Karen will also
provide plant identification on that day.

We can hold our April 21st Annual meeting at the Inn
with a pitch in dinner before. We will order coffee
and some snacks from them as well. Barbara also
suggested a thank you and perhaps a t-shirt to the Inn
manager for all the help she has given us over the
past two years.

Alan's eagle watch was once again successful, as was
Rich's Pine Hills walk and talk. We commented on the
skills and generosity of all of our members.

Be thinking of officers for next year. Chairman, Vice
Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. We will vote at the
annual meeting in April.

As there was no further business, the meeting was
adjourned.
