This book, which was nicely put together by John Clements, genuinely reflects the many ways in which people fought in the medieval days. It goes over the techniques used to wield the sword and shield, long swords, and even great swords. A good two thirds of the book is illustrated with pictures and diagrams of European medieval weaponry, techniques, and key fundamentals to how to use these weapons. This book is a great tribute to the weapons of those days. I would give it a rating of 8 out of 10. |
