Malibu Creek State Park - Santa Monica Mountains, CA

This photograph was taken in Malibu Creek State Park on an early Spring morning. Sometimes taking a great photograph is simply a matter of looking around and focusing in on small sub-section of the scene around you. I loved the dewdrops and coloring of this grass and using a close-up lens allowed me to zoom right in on that piece of the scene and really highlight those elements.
