Santa Monica Mountains, CA

This photograph was taken early on a Spring morning in the Santa Monica Mountains. A layer of dew still clung to all the beautiful pink blossoms that morning. I took a few different versions of this photo; this one was my favorite because it has just the right balance in terms of focus. The background is not distracting, while the eye is drawn to the foreground elements.
