The Duchess of Abercorn and Principal, Betty Orr, of Edenbrooke Primary School flew us out to Belfast for 3 weeks in late May/early June.  This was a follow-up visit from our work at the school in March 06.  Adrian worked with the parents' group to create poetry.  A booklet was made to showcase the parents' work and given to the Duchess on her Pushkin day visit.  Adrian also worked with the upper grades in the school inspiring poetry and stories.

I worked with all the children in the school.  I did poetry & drama & storytelling.  The Pushkin theme this year was "Reflections".  I created a website from our work at the school:  www.geocities.com/edenbrookeps

Also, I wrote & directed our "WordPlays".  Adrian got the kids to write poetry around the theme and I arranged it into a poetry play.  Six P7 pupils performed (after the African Drummers) their "Reflections" play for the Duchess and school.
