Back from Duke University.  Drove through a major storm.  The hail was the size of golf balls and shattered the driver in front of us car's back windshield out!  She was driving down I-85 at 70mph with a hood covering her head in heat of the sinking sun. 

Adrian presented a workshop of creative reading and writing for Duke University Short Courses entitled "Real Poems for Unreal Times".  Neil Astley's anthology "Staying Alive" was the main text.  Four friends from Hickory drove up to take Adrian's course.  We had an amazing time and met some neat people who took the course.  Soon I'll post some poems that they wrote on the spot.
