Jamie tells Landon that she was diagnosed with cancer when she
was 16 and that she had about a year to live. Landon was upset
with everyone at first and then realized that he had to accept it.
They grew closer and closer together because of her not being all
healthy. He treated her so kindly, knowing that she had only a
little bit of time to live. Landon also became closer to his friends
and family because he needed every ones support and love.
