On the internet, briefly research life inside the trenches; evaluate what type of life these

soldiers lived. Trench bunkers dug in the walls of trenches for the soldiers to be protected by the

enemies bombing and to protect them from the rain, snow, wind, and other elements. They dont

Always have trenches but they also use shell holes to use as a temporary cover until more trenches are

made and found. Life in the trenches was horrible; the soldiers would huddle together through

harsh living conditions and often suffered casualties from bombardment, gas attacks, and machine
gun fire. Many people died from trench warfare from the war, starvation, and other diseases

caused from living in unsanitary conditions that were formed during battles near the trenches.
