We Love Molly Molly's Profile About Lab Molly's Diary Camera Face Email Molly Chinese version

We want a dog!
It was on top of our "MUST HAVE" list. After we settled down, Jennie and I began to survey what kind of dog we were going to have. It must have these charactors:

charactors
  • Big, but not too big
  • Friendly, good for kids and family
  • Smart, learning tricks very fast
  • Low-maintenance, It doesn't take lots of time and money for grooming
"A Lab" was the only answer!
We found a good breeder in Walkerton and finally got Molly there.
After Molly got in home, we figured out some truth of the labs bit by bit. If you are getting a pure-bred lab, You better believe what're written on books.
Molly's paw Fact #1: They are very social!
Molly is very famous in our neighborhood. Everybody knew that we have a friendly yellow big dog. She must say hello to everyone she met by shaking her whole body from head to tail.
Molly's paw Fact #2: They are truly smart!
Molly learned her first command, "SIT", on the first day she got home. She knew all the basic commands before we took her to the puppy classes.
Labs are so smart that they especially need good training.
Molly's paw Fact #3: They eat everything!
If you don't pay attention when you walk Molly, she will eat up everything she can reach. I never were surprised that I could dig out anything from Molly's mouth or pick up some strange "things" from her "output".
Labs have amazing appetite that they seem always are hungery. We also learned lots of horrible facts of Labs, like they will chew up your sofa, swallow your remote, rip off your wallet. And you know what, Labs are the only dogs won't puke after they ate grass.
Molly's paw Fact #4: They are powerful chewers!
Labs have strong teeth and jaw that they can easily destroy the toughest toy in 30 seconds. I think Molly should be the star in the movie: "Gone in 30 seconds!"

Molly's paw Fact #5: They shed all the time!
   Labs have double coat:
  • The topcoat is longer hair with a slightly harsh feel and natural oil that give it a shine. It makes water bead up and run off.
  • The undercoat is a layer of duller, shorter and softer hair underneath th topcoat. It is very danse and protects the dogs from the cold.
They really don't neet a lot of grooming but they do shad a lot! And it tends to be heavier in the spring and fall. Molly sheds so much that I was worried about her might became bald. Sometime I just wanted to glue her fur on her skin so they won't fall off after I clean the floor.

We love Molly!
Every moring when I wake up and go down stair, Molly's warm welcome always let me begin my days cheerfully. Although there are pros and cons, Molly do bring us lots of joy and happiness.

We love Molly! And I believe She's loving us back!
