What We Share Is Within Us

Slight blurness 
Yet visible in the morning light
We are set in our own world
Sharing a risky beginning to fighting our rights to freedom

The center is all on you, Colin
Noiticing one last chance to smile
Until our mild battles pound in later
Yet we're still thinking about changing our society
For the better, for everyone's sake

We remember and forget momentarily
Why we are on a mission to make peace
Other people around us are on the same mission
But they don't know us teens
Nor do they care about our rambles
But we make the best of this blue sky
Sharing music, politcal talks and friendship

Outsiders facing each other and walking that walk
Securing the boys from the fire of loneliness
But Blaine is secure with his recorded band
Yet examining the quality of success
And we still walk that walk
But not yet marching
Until it's time
