Several
people have collaborated on this project, including '59
classmates, Sandy Swanson Mohr, Carole Carlson Bloeser,
Nancy Ross Polios, and a RIHS '59 graduate, Vicki Swanson
Wassenhove. Vicki is married to your classmate Lee Wassenhove.
Sandy (Swanson) Mohr and Vicki Wassenhove initiated the idea for this MHS Class of 59 website in March of 2002. It turned out to be a bigger project than Sandy and Vicki first envisioned, but we felt that it's well worth the effort. It's yet another way for the class to share news, events, and just keep in touch with old friends. We invite your suggestions contributions and hope you will visit often.
Sandy died April 27, 2004 due to complications from a stroke. Without her assistance and the countless extra hours she put into it, this site would not be available today. As you know, Sandy volunteered to take care of much of the correspondence for class events, and was in the middle of preparations for the upcoming 45th class reunion when she passed. She was a driving force behind all MHS class of '59 activities, and is deeply missed.
