FORTY YEARS? This reunion again proved "we mellow with age." Over 100 classmates renewed old friendships and made new friends out of old acquaintances as we gathered informally on Friday night at Gatsby's Bar and Grill on 15th Street in downtown Moline; as guys and gals played golf on Saturday; as we dined, danced and reminisced Saturday night at the Elks Club (Tom Genn gets the kudos for traveling the farthest--all the way from Austria); and, as we said our goodbyes with breakfast at the Prospect Park Pavilion on Sunday. We missed all of you who weren't there and hope we'll see you in 2004!

Dave Dwight's classic Ford Coupe drew plenty of admirers at the party.

Bev and Bill Hill, Marlo McSparin, and Ray and Pat Hamilton exchange stories.

We never missed a beat as we went right from the reunion into planning for our 59th birthday at the Skyline Inn next to the Moline airport. (We are really "big city" now with a new terminal and an "international" designation.) Over 60 of us gathered to celebrate with dinner and socializing in the picnic area. Dave Dwight, "antique car restorer extraordinaire," took us way back in time arriving in and displaying his 1937 Ford Club Coupe. Memories were revived and conversation flowed into "when can we do this again!"

And we did it again. If you've never had FROGMORE STEW, you should have been there. Ray (retired FBI) and Pat Hamilton were gracious hosts in September at their home overlooking the Mississippi River in Port Byron. A smaller (but just as fun-lovin') group enjoyed an unforgettable meal. There's nothing like home-grown sweet corn and tomatoes especially when that corn is thrown in a pot with shrimp, Italian sausage, potatoes, onions, etc. --Frogmore...no less! We hope Judy Gault Bourg enjoyed her first "reunion" as she traveled here from North Carolina.

2002 CLASS PARTY:
(Held Sept 7th, at the Croatian Club, Moline)
We all enjoyed a great cook-out.

party pictures from that night.
