Here is the Moleman sitting in a meadow that was a welcome break from the shrub oak and small maples that cut us up.  You can see from the picture the altitude we were at.  GPS readouts put us at about 7000 feet.
Here's the Holymole standing in front of a large rock covered in moss.  It had no significance except that it shows the amount of water and overall temperatures in this area.
Here is the arm of the Moleman, touching the moss.  The moss was about four inches thick so it was cool to touch.  Maybe we can sell it as carpet.
Daryn and I continued up this canyon at a later time.  We followed a stream bed for several hours, when we strangely heard water.  We approached the water, and found a nice flowing stream, that abruptly ended.  The water didn't appear to be going into any holes or anything.  The picture on the right shows where it ended.
Later on, we found this in the streambed.  Daryn walked right passed it, but I seem to be able to spot dead things better.  It was a mountain goat that must have been killed recently by a mountain lion.  Clearly, this was why there was white hair laying all over the canyon and on trees in the canyon.
