Finding caves is not very difficult. With some hard work and a keen eye, caves can be spotted easily. Don't get discouraged when you cannot find a cave. Despite all of my exploring, I only find a cave or two each time out, and that is in country that is filled with rocky outcroppings. I tend to find caves by looking around limestone rock outcrops or by sniffing out the cave. Caves have a very distinct odor that can sometimes be smelled downwind, especially if the cave has air flowing through it. However you find your caves, make sure you exercise safetly and respect for the cave and its owner.
