  THE MOLECULE OF THE YEAR 2004
is
the

IMIDAZOLE-4-ACETIC ACID-RIBOTIDE

ISMCBPR (International Society for Molecular and Cell Biology Protocols and Researches, Inc.) Congratulates Dr. George D. Prell and his co- authors for such an outstanding research undertaking. The molecule was newly identified and it has significant roles in two common diseases: hypertension and diabetes.
