Swingers Don't worry, I'm not a swing kid. This movie didn't influence me that way. I feel more like the predicament Michael finds himself in is one which many men can often empathize with. We have friends who are way luckier in love than we are, and we are so blinded by a desire to be with the woman who dumped us that we lose all self-esteem and mess up the opportunities to meet some other amazing woman because of it. Whether or not I practice the following at all times or not, I still believe that sometimes the past needs to be the past, and that's all.
