About us…
In the summer of 2005 five musicians hung out in a garage playing and singing songs networking their skills and abilities and developing a sound similar to R&B’s The SOS Band and Atlantic Starr.

Within the next several months a few of the members began to see this group having the potential of being more than just a garage band. With gas prices skyrocketing and the distances of the residences of the band members a decision was made to move the group into a different direction that would make it lucrative all. Unfortunately that wasn’t the view of the entire band.

In February through July of 2006 several new member joined this alliance replacing a bassist, guitarist, and the addition of a second keyboardist, a female and male vocalist.

The transformation...
During this time of adjustment and brainstorming the group solidified their look and sound and performed for a private birthday party August 26, 2006 and the Comedy Show December 3, 2006 at the McBonie’s Soul food Bar and Grill 4800 Monroe Road in the Oakhurst Community of Charlotte, NC.
We are the “new kids on the block”, a neo-soul group. Neo soul (also known as nu soul) is a musical genre that fuses contemporary R&B, 1970s style soul, hip hop and jazz. It is the third major sub-genre of contemporary R&B, after the new jack swing of the late 1980s to early/mid 1990s and the hip hop soul of the mid to late 1990s. The "neo soul" term, originated by Kedar Massenburg of Motown Records in the late-1990s. We also perform pop, pop country, and beach music. Beach music, also known as Carolina beach music, is a regional genre which developed from various musical styles of the forties, fifties and sixties. These styles ranged from big band swing instrumentals to the more raucous sounds of blues/jump blues, doo-wop, boogie, rhythm and blues. rockabilly and old-time rock and roll. Beach music is closely associated with the style of swing dance known as the shag, or the Carolina shag. Recordings with a 4/4 "blues shuffle" rhythmic structure and moderate-to-fast tempo are the most popular music for the shag, and the vast majority of the music in this genre fits that description.
