If I like it, it goes in.
OK, I'll elaborate... What I'm looking for is work that is alive and inspired. Strange and unique perspectives are encouraged. Literary outlaws and outcasts unite!
Still too vague? Here are some exemplars (in my book, anyway): Hunter S. Thompson and Edward Abbey in literature; The Clash and Beethoven in music; Andy Kaufman and Tom Green in comedy; Kevin Smith and Oliver Stone in film.
Any clearer? I didn't think so. At any rate, on to more practical considerations... Shorter forms are greatly preferred, though you can certainly send me anything. If I were to somehow receive the next Catcher In the Rye written on cocktail napkins, I would not complain. Ideally, though, I would like this 'zine to be as rapid-fire a publication as possible. Guerrilla prose all the way!
Electronic submissions only, please (and by all means include a short biographical sketch if you wish). If your work is accepted, I will make every effort to notify you before posting it, but due to the volume of submissions this may not always be possible. By submitting you are authorizing posting on the Web.
That's the long and short of it. Have fun out there! Don't hurt yourselves...
