It takes two, my favourite and the 4th movie of Mary-Kate and Ashley Ashley plays the part of Alyssa Callaway Mary-Kate plays the part of Amanda Lemmon. Diana Barrows (Kristie Alley), works for an orphanage in New York. She is crazy about one of the orphans, Amanda. She actually wants to adopt her, but law prevents her from doing so, because she's single. The awfull Butkiss familly, on the other hand, are trying to adopt Amanda. Rich widower Roger Callaway (Steve Guttenberg) enjoys his vacation near the Minocqua Lake. There his lives with his daughter Alyssa, his butler Vincenzo and his terrible fianc�e Clarice. Alyssa and Clarice don't really like each other, actually they HATE eachother, and so Alyssa want to prevent that her father marries Clarice. The orphans go on a summer camp. They travel to camp Callaway, near the Minocqua Lake. And indeed: Alyssa and Amanda run in to eachother. You can understand their surprise, as they really look like each other. The girls decide to switch personality, and try to let Diane and Roger fall in love each other. Some It Takes Two quotes: - The can't eat, can't sleep, reach for the stores, over-the-fence, world series kind of stuff. Amanda Lemmon - I made my money the old fashioned way: pure dumb luck. Roger Callaway It takes Two Bloopers: - When the girls are walking in the forrest, you can see Mary-Kate wears plasters. But later when she's at the party, she takes a snail and you can see neither plasters nor wounds ! - When Carmen walks to the table where Diane and Roger are sitting at, Diane asks for Amanda. Carmen says: 'One moment she's right behind me and the next....' But Amanda (actually Alyssa) wasn't behind her, she was in front. - When Alyssa(pretends to be Amanda) she trips the guy, and the macaroni he was holding lands on Roger's head, but he was right next to her, and you saw the macaroni flying across the room. - Amanda removes her left sock to show Vinnie the scar on her foot, but she's not shown putting her shoe back on before both of them are bashing to the door. - When MK&A are about to bump into each other you can see them brace for it. - In the scene where Diane is brushing her hair she puts Alyssa's hair behind her ear, and there is a little piece still in front of her ear, but in the next shot the hair is gone, and when they cut to Alyssa again the hair in front of her ear is back again ! - When Roger hit the tree felt of his horse, he hurt his head, but Diane puts the bandaid on the opposite side he run into. The scar is on the wrong side. - When Amanda is for the first time in the 'Callaway House' it's not MK playing Amanda, but Ashley ! - On the back of the It Takes Two cover, it's both Mary-Kate. - In the junkyard, Mary-Kate plays Ashley's part - When Alyssa and Amanda are talking by the horses stalls watch the way Alyssa's hair is. Sometimes it's behind her ears, and sometimes it's down. - When Ashley is doing pottery with Diane, she looks for a second in one of the camera's. - When Alyssa is eating the Sloppy Joe, first her mouth is full of dirt, but a few takes later, it suddenly almost dissappeard. - When Amanda is at the engagement party of Roger and Clarice, she spits the snail in her right hand, but when the camera cuts back to her again the snail suddenly is in her left hand. - In the junkyard scene when Diane comes for Alyssa, sometimes Alyssa's cap is on, and somtimes it's not. - In the 'Food-fight' scene, Alyssa runs out with some food in her hair, but when she meets Amanda, her hair suddenly is clean. - In the scene where they are talking about switching places in the woods, sometimes Alyssa's hair is tucked behind her ear, and sometimes it's not !
