at [email protected] JACON INFORMATION: In 2003 JACON will be celebrating its fourth year of bringing japanese animation to the Central Florida Area. This Japanese Anime convention will host a full schedule of events and activities dealing with anime, manga, and other aspects of Japanese sub-culture, such as video games. The convention will be held May 30 - June 1 in Orlando, FL. acon 2003 will be held at the UCF Student Union on the University of Central Florida Campus in Orlando, FL. The University of Central Florida Student Union is a beautiful, state-of-the-art complex, with 4 levels of meeting space. In addition to spacious ballrooms, the Union offers the best in audio-visual equipment for the best in anime viewing! In addition to the convention space, the Student Union also offers a wide variety of conveniences for our convention attendees. The Union houses several restaurants, including a Subway, Wendy's, Sbarro, and Steak Escapes, plus Wackadoos Bar and Grill. The Union also comes equipped with an arcade, a mini-mall, a post office, and ATMs. Rates and Times: Friday $15.00 10:30AM - 10PM Saturday $20.00 9:30AM - 8PM Sunday $15.00 11:30AM - 4PM Weekend Pass $40 CARPOOL PEOPLE----we need to discuss this!
