Quote of the day:
"If you can't join them, beat them."
from Stephen Fry's The Liar
9:30  Stephen seems all up for Comedy Club on Friday night. He's so excitable! :-)

12:00  I actually disagreed with the Wizards client reviewer, which technically means I agree with Hanno! Shock!!

16:00  Muriel is going to Maidenhead tomorrow, for the Trados GXT training. She says I could have gone, but this time she wanted to go herself. Fair enough, I had all the fun last time! :-)
Trados products are so complicated, you need a terminology management tool just to keep track of all those product names!

19:45  Went to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, (Why this musical is called like that is beyond me...). It was loveley, and the crowd was so enthusiastic! :-) Maybe they shouldn't have repeated the entire play again for the encore, but well...
I missed Charles's birthday do because of the theatre, but had an hour for myself with a glass of Pinot Grigio in All Bar One after work.

I love Stephen Fry, he's the living example that campness and intelligence do mix!
(Or is it just "britishness"... ?!)

Apparently, there are no jeans allowed at the Christmas party. What the heck?! After all, it's our Christmas party!!

I enjoy taking part in our Western culture, theatres and the like... But I always feel a bit like an alien, or like on a journey through time. There are all those rules that are quite ancient, but everybody still follows in the theatre: How to sit down, when to clap, when to get up etc... It's all quite 18th century, or even earlier - like Roman ampitheatre antics! I can imagine this culture may soon disappear, and then we only read about it in history books. But while it lasts, we go along with it.

Person of the day:
Nicole, she was great in today's meeting! I'm a proud mother!
Good thing of the day:
I've bought 2 books (Stephen Fry and Tracy Emin) and 2 things that may even qualify as christmas presents.
Annoyance of the day:
Daniel still hasn't sorted out his freelancer for christmas and Amanda is threatening to cancel his holidays. Now I can sort it out! :-/

Plus - Spain haven't sent José María's tests yet. Maybe they've lost them?! I'm getting quite worked up about it right now, how silly!! But I so need him to pass! I want to send an offer letter out by the end of the month!

Song of the day:
The forum reminded me of Fleetwood Mac's Bleed To Love Her.
Picture of the day:

We're so easily led...
