Quote of the day: "We don't have to follow any rules - not even the rule to not follow rules." Lisa Crystal Carver--Drugs Are Nice |
Ah, blast! A whole week of work, and lots of
shit happening... next week is Golden Week in Asia so all the translators
are on holidays. But of course the clients don't care! There are also 1-2
days of national holidays in several European countries and languages like
Polish have suddenly run out of resources! It will be all fun when I get
back in the office next Tuesday! Microsoft are also getting into all this
quite "exotic" languages which are a nightmare to resource. My latest list
is about 100 languages long and includes things like Maori, Welsh or
Mapudungun and even stuff that doesn't even exist (correct me if I'm
wrong) like "Cyrillic Bosnian" and "Cyrillic Georgian"!
Now it's the long May weekend and I'm
actually a bit confused about what to do. I'm not travelling for a
change...! |
Depending if and when Stephen gets his holiday request signed off we might go to New York at the end of May. This means I don't have to worry about the May DJ gigs after the 20th. I might have to get back to NY again right after the holidays, but hey! :-) | |

Sorry it's boring. But here are some paintings from Pete McKee whom I like a lot! He's also updated his website. |
