Quote of the day:

"A fan can't exist on DJ gigs alone..."

Last weekend was spent in Germany at my parents' house in Groß-Gerau, as it was my dad's 60th birthday party. It must have been the event of the year, they had over 60 guests, most of them over 60. ;-) Mum was tense as usual and nagged a lot, but dad seemed to enjoy it. He was still drunk the next morning! Food was plentiful and the band was alright.

The flights went fine, too. British Airways have sneakily converted themselves into a budget airline called BAConnect with on-board food for purchase and tiny, tiny planes. So much for slagging off budget airlines!

Nothing exciting to report from work. I have made contact with new Catalan, Icelandic and Portuguese agencies in preparation of the new BlackBerry localisation cycle. RIM are still being a pain however...

Proof that the German BlackBerry indeed has a QWERTZ keyboard!

Finally some more May gigs have been confirmed. I guess I will only do Birmingham and the Bootylicious PA.

On the forums they are still hotly discussing the rehab dates that apparently "need to be squeezed in before June". Apparently not...
What I find ridiculous is that most posters claim that this issue is "private" and shouldn't be discussed as it has nothing to do with "music". Come on!! Of course we are interested in this topic! I am very, very, very concerned if and when and how George is going to rehab.
It's so hypocritical to spend 24/7 online on Boy George forums discussing the hairs in his ears and then claim you're not interested in his health and legal predicaments.
I don't think it should be a taboo topic.
And I'm also sure he doesn't just "forget" about the verdict and needs to be reminded by concerned fans!
How frivolous of him to be working in the meanwhile! LOL

And now to something completely different even though the words sound alike: Terror in Dahab!
Three apparent bomb blasts ripped through Egypt's Red Sea resort of Dahab on Monday, killing 30 people and wounding more than 100, rescue officials said.
Oh my god!! I hope nobody I know are affected!
