Quote of the day: "He's like that whale in the Thames. He's in unfamiliar waters and he's frightened of the worst-case scenario." Judith (This has made me laugh so hard, I had to change my underwear! OK, and I am quite excitable today! LOL) |
18:00 It's still boring at
work. I have been working, but couldn't concentrate. The smallest things
set me off, like the "retro-collective optical design" of the Symbol scan
engine! I was pissing myself about the "retro collective". Is that the
forum?!! I think I'm going slightly mad....! It's about time I had my bloody interview and got sent to Seattle or something -- or get super-disappointed and find another job. Anything...!!
18:00 I've finally made my move
and invited the girls over. The chosen date is January 31st, that will
also give me some distraction... 20:00 I can't get the scanner to work with the old PC and the new OS, and can't be bothered to revert the new Mac OS back to the old... This means buying a new USB scanner. I need one anyway. I'll get one tomorrow. If anybody wants an old SCSI scanner, let me know! 22:00 Chatted with Nigel for a bit, bless him! |
OK, can we get back to normal?! I'm
already sick of hearing myself thinking, wah! No alcohol today, and little
food. Ah..., but I am still so
worried!!! I'm sure in some years I'll look back and think "these were the best years of my life...". Isn't life a bitch?! But still so many things are hilarious!
Most of the time
I can't decide whether to sob or giggle....
"The best four-letter word is hope."
"Never believe in mirrors or newspapers."
"What you can’t get out of, get into wholeheartedly."
“It’s all right letting yourself go, as long as you can get yourself
back.” |
