Now....

...where have I been? Nowhere, really.
And if anybody was wondering what I have been doing, here's the answer:
I have been watching Deep Space Nine!

I'm serious. I should have known that when Virgin 1 started showing the series it would only take a couple of weeks to rekindle my obsession. I don't want to do anything else. I'm fully addicted again, and because one episode a day is just not enough I have bought ALL the box sets. OK, I admit it. I fancy Garak! LOL
I'm still trying to figure out how often I can watch the same episode without being thrilled to bits. I guess I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

I've been looking around on fan sites on the internet, but I must say those people are really scary! I mean, I can totally relate to fans obsessing about their objects of desire, but those are fictional characters!
Some of the things those fans get up to are truly disturbing, and so wrong on more than one level! LOL

Here's an article I've found that defines a whole new world of madness along with some totally-new-to-me terminology:

Fascinating!

It is now officially only ONE WEEK until the tour.
I have a sneaky suspicion that I am so frightened of the whole adventure that I have gone into denial. After all the planning in the past months I suddenly feel paralysed. So rather I watch DS9 than pack!

There still so much to do. For example getting all the train tickets out of the FastTicket machine at the station! It will take me hours as I have about 50 tickets to collect. But I don't want to block the machine for any urgent travellers, so I think I will go tomorrow, late at night.

One slightly more productive thing I have been doing is running all these groups and communities to promote the tour and bring people who have spare tickets to sell together with people who want to buy tickets. What a hassle! All people want to do is swap their original tickets for better seats, and some tickets have changed hands about four times!

By the way, I have tried to completely ignore Christmas and New Year. I will not celebrate the new year before the end of February this year anyway. Then I might have a party... in any case.
