Quote:

"Thank you Barbara and thank you George. For restoring the good name to Culture Club. The way George is acting and if he is found guilty and is sent away, with totally destroy what is left of Culture Club's name. They will never be given the respect that they deserve. They will never be remembered for the music. They will be forever tied to Boy George's antics."

It's cold. So far the coldest winter I've had in the UK. I don't mind as long as it does not snow in January and February, or on any other day I am travelling!

I have started to book trains for next year's dates just because prices are good now and if I wait they will get unaffordable. I have tried to calculate if I pay more if I book early for cheap prices and then cancel and request a refund minus 10 pounds for each ticket, or if I should start off buying expensive but refundable tickets. If everything gets cancelled, I will get all my money back with the second option, but if stuff does not get cancelled, it will be four times more expensive, and of course we are hoping for the best. LOL

Kristine, Kenneth and Helga (apparently!) are in Hong Kong today. Let's hope George is, too. I hate having to figure out what time it is in that time zone, and it's so freaky that they are ahead of us.

On Thursday we were suffering another court day. But thanks to the fast internet updates it was all over by 10 AM. Kenneth went to the court and made himself useful, bless him. He sent us a detailed e-mail update before checking in on his flight to Hong Kong which was very much appreciated.

I had been calm and quiet before, but after I had seen the news photos from the court I was very distraught. They always have to hunt him down like that, it is very upsetting. He looked just beautiful on the photos however.

He's been sent to trial in February, the day after the last scheduled concert. I wonder if that date has been picked intentionally or if it's just coincidence?
It's of course bad news that he'll now face a Crown Court trial, but somebody clever explained that the fact that he has not entered a plea bargain is a good thing. Audun obviously wants money out of him, and he was probably hoping for a plea bargain. He may not get that now the case goes to trial.

Other bad news: My laptop is behaving erratically and can't be trusted. My mobile has died and I cannot operate the replacement one.
Actually, bad news from the technology department don't count. There are really no other bad news. It's all good. I've even lost some weight! There you go: I'm arock of positivity!

It's now only 4 weeks until Christmas and I haven't even started thinking about presents. I would love to simply ignore it, but I'm being pressured into joining the season's madness because I know Stephen will - as usual - ignore my request for NO PRESENTS.

Another court day, Marylebone Magistrates' Court, 20 years ago.

I can't recall seeing this photo before and have just ordered it as a large print as a Christmas present for myself.

I've been watching the Show Business DVD with the Taboo story and have realised what a huge achievement that whole Taboo project was. One tends to forget.
It's such a brilliant show, and it ran for ages in London, and it should have carried on in New York for longer.
Not seeing Taboo 67 times and not seeing the Broadway production is my my greatest regret.
No, not really. LOL I simply did not have the chance (=money) at the time.
It still would have been nice though.
