Quote You reap what you sow. |
It has been a nightmare
trying to figure out where and what is happening and the latest schedule
is full of mix-ups and typos so it's as useful as throwing a dice or
blindly pointing a finger on a map to decide which flights to book next.
Kenneth is still going to
Switzerland and Italy next weekend even though the gigs are definitely not
confirmed. Good on him to have time for travel though! He also did the
crazy thing this week and flew to Athens to the Exclusive Designers Week
with only a 2 hour notice! But he got the FULL experience, so it was worth
it. I am so jealous! Yesterday, Kenneth, Kristine, Julia and I went to the Manchester gig which even happened as (not) scheduled. Stephen came up with me to Manchester in the morning and we had lunch, and walked around a bit in the rain. He also caught a glimpse of Kristine who as he confessed was "much less scary in real life". The Essential was a bit like a mini version of the Milan club with naked drugged men all over the place. Tiresome. And loud! George was fully clothed but stood unashamedly "above the law" chain-smoking in the otherwise compulsory smoke-free environment. Outrageous. He drank about 3 litres of water, one coke, and a small beer. I know people will need this all-important information. On this note, I really don't understand why Barbara is still making up new personalities on her forum every day when even Steve has been pissed off by it already. That whole episode entertained me enormously, by the way. Bless him, he's a great guy. We all feel sorry for him though. Nobody deserves such a curse. If Barbara thinks Steve doesn't know what's going on she's wrong. But it is clearly a mental disorder, so let's pity her. Oh, sorry, I meant let's spit on her. Now, I hope that was enough material to work with for the next couple of week, and you get a broken promise thrown in for free: I wrote about "forums" even though I said I never would again! It must be a Gemini thing.... But it doesn't really matter because nobody reads this or the forum anyway. And it's lovely to see how common sense is slowly but surely returning to people's brains. Random note: The Carnival season started today at 11:11. |
