Quote:
Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind...
-- Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss's books scare me, but that is a good quote.
Thanks, Dawn! :-)

But I've heard another good one yesterday, I think it was on "House"...

"'I say what I think' is just another way of saying 'I'm an asshole'."

By now I'm kind of bored with the floods. They said they would switch the electricity off today for a couple of hours, but nothing happened, so we had to work without major interruptions. How "disappointing". LOL

I was pissed off at work today with all the IDIOTS, they are all so incompetent, it's really frustrating. It's like a bloody kindergarten, and I have absolutely no high opinion of any of the translators that work on my projects. Or most of their managers.

Stephen tried to make his way home today via Chesterfield, but he will probably stay over again tomorrow. I've realised that I don't really like company. I could never live with anybody again. It stresses me out. I'm not sure what's the big deal. What difference is there in having somebody sitting in your living room minding their own business whilst you do exactly what you would be doing when on your own? But it makes me feel guilty more than anything else. And that's stressful.

We have a new Prime Minister. End of an era, etc.
I still don't get it. How can Blair simply resign and decide who will take his place?! Where's the democracy in that? We didn't vote for Brown! (Well, I personally didn't vote anyway...)
It can't be right. And it surely doesn't work like that in Germany. We make very sure that nobody can simply appoint their mate! LOL
But it's got to have something to do with the monarchy. It's the Queen who technically appoints the Prime Minister, isn't it?
Anyway, I don't think I like Gordon Brown, or what he stands for. He said he'll defend "our way of life"... that's very dodgy.
