04 June 2007

Quote:

Haha!
Just seen the horoscope:

Gemini
At some point during the day you might find yourself in the public eye, dear Gemini. This is fine, as you're looking and feeling great, and even more apt than usual to project warmth and friendliness to those around you. Acknowledgment for an artistic or creative activity could be coming your way. Whatever you start today is likely to succeed, whether it's a new artistic project, a new career, or a new romance. Enjoy!

It's June! The best month of the year. And also a sign that half of 2007 is almost gone!
It doesn't feel very summery though. Last week it was still frosty and I had the heating on. It was freezing. Then suddenly, yesterday it was sunny and warm. This morning, it was cold again. Freak weather!

Yesterday, Stephen and I went to Grindleford in the Peak District. It's only a couple of minutes from Sheffield, but the trainline goes through the Totely tunnel which is the second longest in the UK with almost 4 miles. I'm not sure which one is the longest tunnel though. The Grindleford website wouldn't say.
It was very idyllic and green.

People on the forums have been slowly but surely moving from understandable surprise and resigned disappointment to the whole big BLAME thing, as was to be expected.
It's the same 5 people as usual ranting about lost ticket money, even though THEY are definitely the last people on the planet who would have bought a ticket in the first place!
Oh, it's all about FAIRNESS, isn't it? Not fair to the poor people who have booked flight tickets and won't get them refunded.
And anyway, all those DJ gig cancellations, how unprofessional! How much money have we lost! Reality check: It was all Kristine's and my money, so if you have to, pity us.
If you were going to cancel a tour, then five months in advance seems like a reasonably early time. It's still AGES until October!
Guys, you are talking about concerts, not running for parliament! It's some bloke standing on a stage and singing a couple of songs, not the feeding of the five thousand. And if HE doesn't want to do it, then tough! If it's him you want to hear, then you have to bloody well wait until he's ready.
People sound like they want to drag him on stage gagged and bound just to get their "justice". Well, I guess "gagged" wouldn't be such a good idea.

All that talk about "broken promises" makes me furious. And the comments are so vile, it's really hurtful. It's true that people's real personality emerges when they lose money. Or simply lose!

I don't know. I'm not even disappointed. More relieved. I will probably save a lot of money (in the short run), and I suddenly have a lot of spare holiday days to distribute over the year!
I didn't want a 17-gig tour anyway. I want to see him all the time, not all the time over three weeks.

I would say the diagram below explains it all perfectly well. LOL

Oh, speaking of LIARS: It's a bit dangerous to claim you've been to DJ gigs when you haven't actually, especially if you've been caught lying before. What's the point?? Being "Number One Stalker Fan", I'm always there anyway, and I'm not blind. Only short-sighted. LOL
So how was Munich?
