I have been so happy
today, I don't even know why.
In the morning I went to my one-to-one appointment with the lady from the
support group. They offer great services for free, and I have signed up
for counselling and complementary therapies. It almost makes me feel
guilty again, like I shouldn't go because I don't deserve it!
I was late in for work, but left kind of early too, because not much was
going on (Italy have a bank holiday!). Vera called from Boulder and asked
if I could do the MSDN job for her, because she had her own "proper work"
to do, which was rather cheeky. I hope she got it sorted out in the end.
I have booked some more flights and trains again -- to Amsterdam, Coventry and Blackpool. I think I am addicted to travel! I haven't even bothered to check if those clubs and gigs really exist... or if I have enough cash!
Stuey has
asked for permission to publish my Canada photos, and I said OK if he
could stop saying nasty things about me behind my back. He claims he can't
even remember and that it wasn't behind my back anyway because it
was on a public forum. Haha, very funny!
Somehow it is now all Paul's fault as well, but don't get me
started on that...
By the way, I had a message from Paul the other day, bless him.
I've just printed a couple of new pix to put up in my house. Isn't he gorgeous?! Ahhh....!

goodness... the Culture Club saga continues:
Barbara has released and "official statement" on the Dark Side forum, in
which some unknown entity claims that George has indeed taken legal steps
to prevent the new CC from using the name "Culture Club". No details were
given, and Barbara won't say who the statement actually is from, so it
could all be made-up as far as I'm concerned.
Why they cannot continue making music under a different name is unclear as
well. Something about "lots of dollars" being offered... mhm.
The New CC people are going ballistic, it is not pretty to watch! Here are some of the best quotes:

It really is the best outcome for everybody - nobody in their right mind could want poor Jon and Mikey to carry on making fools of themselves with this pathetic project!
