I hope the flights are not delayed, or I miss the check-in, or the trains
are late... I'll catch a train at 3:44 AM! So there NO night's sleep for
me.
I've had a cold since I've been off for 2 days, and am really badly at the moment, so I hope it won't impact my trip. It's always when the stress gets less that your body collapses!
The past few
weeks the *assumed* Canada gigs have been doing my head in! The flight
possibilities are ENDLESS! And those irresponsible people have STILL not
confirmed the final dates! Marc approved the first schedule to Kristine,
then Stuey posted those dates, and Frank went and copied them
typos-and-all onto the website. But then Marc posted different dates in
his blog, so now we are all confused!! Why can't those people take more
care? HOW difficult can it be to get a town and a date in the right order?
Plus, Emma still hasn't officially approved my holidays, so I wasn't yet
able to tell Sandra that I won't be using the return flight from Denver,
or discuss if that might be a problem... So far I have only booked my
return flight from Toronto, which was the one most likely to go up it
price into the unaffordable range.
It would be so great if these 3 gigs would happen, because Barb has so
kindly agreed to offer her car as means of transport to Montreal AND her
house for accommodation!
I spoke to Petra on the phone yesterday because in her last email she told me that her dad had died. And Stefan, her ex-flat mate, has died as well, on a trip to Africa where he was investigating a 2000-speaker language! I'm totally shocked! See what people do in the name of linguistics?!
My new TV favourite - after Most Haunted - is Colin Fry's "The Sixth Sense"! It's so nice, and he's so likeable! LOL
