13/14 December 2005
Quote of the day:
"
I'm not doing it. I'm not a f*cking desperate housewife."
George
Tuesday

14:00  Amanda actually introduced me on a client call as "our Translation Analyst". Fucking hell!! If she carries on like that I'll be soon lynched by my colleagues for queue-jumping!

02:00 Christmas is coming for most of us, and it's getting hard to ignore. I can't believe how "into" it the Brits are! And all the Santa's grotto decorations, festive food orgies and presents runs are completely detached from any religious meaning, which I find rather irritating. Yes, it was the day of the SDL Christmas party. The mood wasn't so jolly for the translators, but I must admit I had the best time ever! The hotel was really nice, and the dance floor huge. I danced a lot, to the amusement of my colleagues. I do dance when I'm sober, but can't deny that I again drank everything available. We stayed till the end, and there were plenty of opportunities for drug-fuelled confessions... Can't wait for the photos... NOT!

Monday

14:00  Spent all day answering queries and doing other "analyst" work... It's fun when I get the time to do it. There are lots of things to do, and projects to "clean up".

16:00  Cristina wants to go to Granada, fair enough..

21:00  Vera called! Nice one, that's my weekly call done and dusted. ;-)

The rumours about George's Big Brother attendance are getting more and more (repeated). It was in the SUN. There you go!
I can't see it happening, but if it were, I'd go MAD. The amount of video tapes I'd go through! I'd have to take 2 weeks of holidays - might be time for a DVD recorder then...
Song of the day:
It's called
LOOK PON U and people on the forum hate it. Stupid tossers, the usually like every shit, so what's wrong with this one?!
Silly fact:
It's George's birthday in exactly 6 months.
Annoyance of the day:
The bloody busses! We had to wait for 30 minutes, while 5 (!) busses went up in the opposite direction and none came down! They were probably losing vehicles to some strange Bermuda triangle just off Nether Edge!! No, more likely the drivers were all having their obligatory 15 minute breaks!!! Grrr....! AND the fares have gone up to 1.50!!!
