It is still terribly hard - I think I was at the brink of a nervous breakdown yesterday.
I spent the last 48 hours (including my weekend) cleaning up somebody else's mess, and I have completely been neglecting my own projects. It's like herding fucking kittens!!! (Or clusters, as MSDN'S the Scripting Guy would put it... arggghhh!!!)
I haven't been able to sleep because I'm so stressed out - even 7 SleepEaze pills wouldn't do the trick... I have to get those proper over-the-counter ones that Kristine takes.
Today I managed to resource the complete 25,000 words file, and translate the rest myself, so I am feeling much calmer.

To add to the anxiety, a new gig has been announced for -- wait for it: February 7th! A Wednesday. The Wednesday in  the middle of my ONE week of holidays in Budapest!
So, what's a girl to do?!
I have found flights that would get me back to Budapest at 10 AM the next day - so Stephen would only have to spend one afternoon and one night on his own. I kinda *broke it* to him  today, in between work crisis and stuff, and he..... laughed!
I'm not 100% sure if that's because he didn't quite get what I was saying...
I said it was good that we was laughing, given that I'd just announced that I would break up our "honeymoon" (not really ;-),
And he said that I would probably do just the same thing on my own wedding: Leaving early to see George!
And that's EXACTLY why I am NOT getting married!!!
So yeah, I guess I will be going.
Actually, a flight back and forth from Budapest to London would not be more expensive than re-arranging the holidays and travelling to-and-from Sheffield (AND taking an extra 2 days of holidays!).

I went to the doctor's today (in between my double shifts) to have my ear checked. She looked into my ear and said: "Oh, yes, you have a "§!"&%U%&" (sounded like effusion). It's also called "glue ear". It can last for several months."
Well, great. So I can be half-deaf for several months?!
Fair enough, at  least I have no tinnitus... but I might just get one soon from stress!!

Nothing else to report. Except that they sell large papayas at Tesco's (found out this afternoon when I went shopping after my doctor's appointment).
