London Revue Bar Renaming Party
The posh renaming party
for Too2Much was taking place on November 8th. Lynn and her husband,
Kenneth and Tania, and Kristine and I were the only ones mad enough to
actually have purchased a ticket - I guess all the other "VIP" guests got
in for free. We were first to arrive and supervised the men laying out the
blue carpet. There was free champagne (almost) all night and a free bar
(only the very first part of the night), and canapees. I mad a new name as
"the woman who ate the most canapees". Hey! I hadn't eaten all day!
The show programme was great, I loved all the acts - very good singers and
lots of John Themis! LOL
George was utterly brilliant, and I managed to take lovely pictures.
Afterwards Kristine and I went off to Nag Nag Nag, and I stood in the rain for ages talking to Susan on the mobile. Atomizer were performing an interesting - but very short - gig, and we saw Mike there as well. After that we packed our free gay magazines and went to catch the last bit of TrannyShack which had moved to the Shadow Lounge that night. We met George's B-Rude PA Gabriel who recognized Kristine (hopefully from the fashion show) and chatted to her. He said he was impressed how Kristine always managed to keep up with George when he was his PA and never knew where he was! LOL We ARE good though... ;-)
