What a week!!!
It is just too much! The "resourcing part" of my new role is clearly too much. It's enough work for another person, the bloody Resourcing Manager maybe?! I never get around to doing anything productive because I'm so busy chasing all the translators! And it's always too late once I do get around to doing what I have to do.

Today the client came back complaining that the Germans had not translated the acronyms glossary -- the one I had been wanting to look at for 2 weeks! They really had left everything in English! LOL Great! Then it took the Line Manager an hour to find out which file I was referring to... I ordered her to send me the bloody translations today, and she did - at least!
The Polish have failed the Microsoft LQS review, but weren't very helpful in trying to get their error count down. I basically had to classify all mistakes myself, which of course is a joke because I don't speak any Polish! LOL

The Microsoft Bulletins have moved to TMS this month and everything is going wrong! LOL Rachel is just losing it!! They didn't implement any of the old WorkFlow settings, but have introduced the strangest bugs! There are so many fatal features nobody even knew existed!!

ISA is a joke as well, what a messy project! It's all down to the Microsoft project manager of course... We basically had to translate 50,000 words in 2 days per 8 languages, and she kept ignoring our complaints. Now, after we're finished, we have managed to get an extension -- But everything has already gone haywire. And I have so many queries about UI items that it's clear that something is very wrong. Sigh.

Tomorrow I'm going to Milan, which seems to be the City of Doom! We just couldn't book any hotel, even the posh, big places were booked out! I now have managed to book a skimpy room at a faraway place with horrid reviews. But all is doomed for Kristine anyway! Her flight is at 7something on Sunday, but the gig is apparently form 4 to 6AM! So she will miss her flight -- which is of course the only option she sees! LOL Mad woman!!
I am looking forward to 40something hours without sleep...!

Kristine and Sybille are in Lausanne tonight, which I "dutifully" skipped. :-(

I don't know how to spell Sibylle-Sybille. Is thre a wrong and a right way?!

Annoyance of the week:
They are digging up the road outside the office and it's SOOO noisy!!
Picture of the day:
God, he's sssssssssssoooo beautiful!!!!
I literally fell off my chair! LOL
