Good thing of the day:
My lime green stilettos have finally arrived. I can wear them for the
Christmas Party:

10:00 Rachel has organised the
secret santa thing in the most organised way... and we thought we're
being Germanly organised! LOL We were even handed the appropriate present
tags!
14:00 I'll make José María an
offer. If I can ever reach him on his mobile! he could still say "no", and
may be crap after all... but that's the risk we have to take!
19:00 I've stayed at work
too long and therefore missed my gym class. Tough. Bad start of the week.
Munich have messed up. First they begged for work, then I sent them a
meagre 600-words job, they ask for 1 hour extension, and 10 mins before
the delivery they admit that they have not even started "thinking the
deadline was tomorrow"! That'll they me not to send anything to that
unreliable pack!
21:30 Strange, I'm not very
tired, even though I didn't get any sleep last night before 4:30 AM. I
just wasn't sleepy - and I didn't even take any "drugs"!

The Turner Prize 2005 goes to Simon
Starling. I must say, I agree. Amongst the artists shortlisted, he was
really the only one whose concept was anything original. Darren Almond is
alright, but not very unusual. I didn't get the other two. Gillian
Carnegie I find annoyingly incoherent. I get the Black Square reference,
but so what?! If art doesn't have anything to say, it should at least look
good. Jim Lambie is decorative, but nothing more. I found his installation
disappointing, because it didn't make me think.
It's *only* 2 weeks now until the court
appearance... |
