Quote of the day:
"Books are not holy relics. Words may be my religion, but when it comes to worship, I am very low church. The temples and the graven images are of no interest to me, The superstitious mammetry of a bourgeois obsession for books is severely annoying. Think how many children are put off reading by prissy little people ticking them off whenever they turn a page carelessly. The world is so fond of saying that books should be "treated with respect". But when are we told that words should be treated with respect? From our earliest years we are taught to revere only the outward and visible."
(Stephen Fry, The Liar)
Friday

23:30  We've been to the Comedy Club at Ponds Forge. It was really good! I was laughing very much. :-)

0:00  The "sister" is making contact, and has become more articulate...

Saturday

17:00  We've cooked vegetable stir-fry with rice and cordon bleu. Nice. Had a quiet afternoon. Tonight is Nausikaa's birthday do in the pub, and Razor Stiletto. I could go to the pub before the club, but not with my war paint on... now there's a technical problem...

03:30  Been to Razor Stiletto and had a great time. Really lovely. See pix! :-)

A People on the forum are still very excitable and insulting each other. Poor vasanzio...! :-( He's the nicest guy, and such a little sunshine.

Stephen wants to go to New York in March. Great! But I've only got 5 days of holidays left. What if there are "European dates" early next year?! I have to go everywhere!!
Can't really plan anything though before the date. I'm starting to panic already!!
