Quote of the day:
"
Many people would no more think of entering journalism than the sewage business - which at least does us all some good."
-- Stephen Fry

Song of the day:
Fifteen Feet of Pure White Snow
-- Nick Cave

I had to go all the way to Meadowhall again today to have my hair cut. It wasn't really necessary yet, but Ingrid's wedding is next Saturday, and I won't have time to go to the hairdresser's before that. No photos this time.
I also bought 2 garments at H&M - more pants than usual fit me today, so I had to buy at least one pair...

It has finally started to feel somehow summery, which of course has caused the locals to panic and call it a national heat wave that will carry off the majority of the British pensioners... God, it was only 26 degrees for one day, and today there where heavy thunderstorms already.

I painted 2 pictures today and am feeling very accomplished. I haven't got the scanner here at the moment so you're spared the results, LOL!

Message for everybody who's still waiting: Yes, I will burn those CDs! Sooooon!!

I've decided to take Tai Chi classes, as they seem to be the pre-requisite to any Tao-related matter. I only have to find a course in Sheffield now.
I now believe I should really get into this spiritual stuff seriously (again), everything happens for a reason. I should become a nun; I should channel my passions in a more "fruitful" way. Maybe I should become a mum. LOL - NO, I'd rather be a nun [joke]. Or a social worker? Maybe I should go to Ceuta and hand out blankets to African refugees? Maybe I could learn Somali - everybody in my street speaks Somali - I almost understand it, it's like an Arabic dialect. Is this my midlife crisis? Huh! Just wait till I reach midlife! :-)

In the meanwhile I have discovered Stephen Fry fansites, which are bordering on the seriously scary, but are not very well frequented, I'm afraid.
I need some distraction, as I am still successfully staying away from the Forum... Let them get on with it: "How would you know...?!" Yes, how would I know?! Maybe because I was told...?!
No, I didn't go to the Royal Albert Hall thing today. I don't have 200 GBP to spare, and I have seen the Ragga PA before.

OK, and for everybody who's sick of my new favourite Matt, here's one of my old favourite Jenny, LOL:
