Quote of the day: I found this in the Sheffield exposed magazine: Jonesing Urbandictionary.com defines 'jonesing' as an intense uncontrollable desire for something. It can be applied to most anything from some hot sex to simply a biscuit, say, but is most often used in reference to drugs e.g. "jonesing for a doobie." I'm back at work, and it's stressful! I have
been given enough tasks to fill 2 weeks, but on top of that I have to do
Muriel's job who's on holidays, and all the other usual crap. Oh, and I have got that new job! I've got my letter and pay rise. It has still not been made quite "official" though" because two other people in my department had also applied but were rejected. Makes me feel a bit awkward... Karin is gone! Now I'm the only remaining German. The German department is also officially NO MORE. I'll still have to get that message across to all the freelancers... Yesterday was Stephen's birthday. I came
up with a voucher present, and I hope he'll like whatever we buy! |
Sybille from Switzerland is also coming to
Mantova and we're trying to get an extra bed in the room we've
booked at the hotel. I hope it works out! I'll be leaving for London Friday night already, it's so soon! I still have to get some stuff from the shops, but I never manage to have a lunch break... After watching the Brits, I must say the oh-so-scandalous Chris-Evans incident looked quite rehearsed to me. At least George didn't bat an eyelid. He looked very composed. Well, he DID bat an eyelid, to be honest, quite a flutter actually! LOL |
