18:00 Work was rather stressful
today. I have taken on too much translation work, and other management
stuff kicked off again, too. I've called Russia, fought for my right to
see Getty in Seattle (still pending -- I might rather go to the London
Fashion Show after all... argh!), organized the office move and comforted
those who will take the Linguistic Analyst test tomorrow -- excluding
myself. I've had other worries... but GOSH! How efficient is this modern news machinery?! I wouldn't have thought I'd get that much information that soon -- At 1 PM it was all done and dusted, including pictures! All I have to do now is buy every tabloid available tomorrow morning and I'm done! At lunch I took some time to go to the
cathedral -- this time I chose the Catholic one. It was much quieter and
nicer. And it was bloody well worth it as well. 22:30 I have had alcohol tonight. Just so. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a celebration... |
The immediate panic is over, and the
waiting is on again. The next court appearance (whatever that means)
has been postponed until March 8. Fucking hell. At this rate I'll have soon
wasted a bloody whole year on worries... But fair enough. It has been good so far. On the photos and press releases I've seen today he has appeared very dignified, and that's great. Paul was there, too! Bless him! I like that. |
