QUIZ

• Quiz 1 : In this quiz we were given a problem to make a program first verify the user (client) and then accepts its query and then return the result . Extra Marks was kept for GOOD Query and GOOD Handling.     Marks: 17/10
• Quiz 2 : In this quiz sir gave the code of the RFC of SMTP and told us to give the result of this given code , answer must include that mail will be delivered to whom and wht will be the data .Marks :10/10
• Quiz 3: In this quiz we were ask to design a Client Server Application to calculate the time in which a server responds to the client . Marks : 5/5

WEEKS SUMMARY:

• Week 1  :(Ended 17/09/04) In this week sir taught us the model how the client and server communicates with each other and gave us the assignments to make a simple program for client server communication .
• Week 2  :(Ended 24/09/04) In this week sir taught us the model of three tier applications with the example of client , server and data server , and gave us the assignments to make a data server and client for that application .
• Week 3  :(Ended 01/10/04) In this week sir took the quiz and in other class sir gave us the introduction to RFC's specially for SMTP .Sir gave us the assignment to make a complete game with client server interaction just like Tic Tac Toe.
• Week 4  :(Ended 08/10/04) In this week sir explain us the working of RFC's of  SMTP, POP , MIME and SMTP ( MIME Supported ) and gave the assignments on that .     
• Week 5  :(Ended 15/10/04) In this week sir checked the assignments and gave us to write an RFC for teacher communication and also gave us the implementation of RFC of HTTP to implement . Students gave a small presentation on Servlets Installation and Settings and a little intro on TOMCAT.
• Week 6  : (Ended 22/10/04)In this week some students gave the presentation on the topic servlets and in another class sir himself discuss all the topics belonging to servlets.
• Week 7  : (Ended 29/10/04)In this week we did a little bit revision and some practice on Shell Programing.
• Week 8  : (Ended 05/11/04)In this week we did a lot of revision and some topics of servlets . Paper pattern was also discussed and some related questions to RFC were also discussed .

• Week 11: (Ended 19/11/04)In this week paper of mid term was discussed and sir also give us the introduction to Java Server Pages .
• Week 12: (Ended 26/11/04)In this week sir gave us the introduction about the Java Server Pages which included the life cycle of it and installation and some into of Apache Tom Cat.
• Week 13: (Ended 03/12/04)In this week sir told and explain the theory of all important functions and methods of Java Server Pages and some of Java Beans.
• Week 14: (Ended 10/12/04)In this week we implemented some of the examples of Java Server Pages and sir also gave us one assignment of this topic .
• Week 15: (Ended 17/12/04)In this week we implemented some examples of beans and the procedure to use beans with Java Server Pages.
• Week 16: (Ended 24/12/04)In this sir gave us the introduction to midlets and we also implemented some basic examples using J2ME.
• Week 17: (Ended 31/12/04)In this week we implemented some examples of mobile programming and some also some advance examples with socket programming.
