Presently working with Pervasive One Solutions Ltd, for more than 2.5 years
in the capacity of Sr. s/w Engineer.
Worked as s/w Engineer at Binary Semantics since September 2000 to April

Worked as ! s/w Engineer from September 1999 to August 2000 with E-

Project Summary & Responsibility:

Project

The Project involved replacing an existing implementation of COM Plug-in
integrated With TRIM Work Group Server with a new Plug-in Implementation
connecting to .net Services in C#.

The .net component implementing an existing COM interface and used SOAP to
Connect to Tower IDM Web Services for providing functionality such as for
Adding, Removing and Extracting documents from Tower Document Repository.
The .net component was then wrapped up in CCW so that existing Applications
don't break-up.
The prototype was build in c++ using MS-SOAP Toolkit 2.0

Atlantic Utilities had a fleet of Field Service-Engineers, responsible for
repairing and changing of electric meters at the client site, the job
inv! olved them to come to the head-office in the morning, checking new jobs
assigned to them, and executing them one by one and in the evening coming
back to head-office and updating the central system with the job status
that they have executed.

The solution provided to them involved Application running on hand-held
devices, which the field-engineers used to download new jobs assigned to
them in the morning, and then they used to go to job-site take snapshots of
their work which involved taking snap-shot of old meter, another one for
new meter installed and then updating the job-server straight away, for the
job status and downloading new jobs if any new jobs have been allocated to
them.

Ripcord Systems was a leading solutions provider in Wireless Technology and
is a forerunner in applications based on GSM, GPRS and Bluetooth. Smart
client is a B2E application whereby the employees of an organization can
get the database required on their pocket pc's/pda in real time from the
compan! y servers.

The project involved creation of virtual application for the hand-held
devices, which can be customized and configured to run any type of business
application involving data-synchronization with the server platform as well
as data-input from the end-user.

The application was divided into three major modules: UI Engine, Business
Logic Engine and Data Model Engine, UI Engine for rendering of screens on
to the device, Business Logic Engine controlling the business logic
deciding what, when and how to do, Data Model Engine managing the database
locally.

information. The project involved generating and sending of MQ Messages to
a MQ Series Server and auto generated mails to a predefined mail a/c in
.xml format.

Intermec is a UNOVA company, one of the leading companies in Europe that
develops, manufactures and integrates wired and wireless automated data
collection, Intellitag(r) RFID (! radio frequency identification) and mobile
computing systems for companies worldwide. The main objective of the system
is to create a set of controls, which can be used by the endusers to create
applications without getting into actual programming. The controls have to
be created for various means of communication - wire, TCP/IP, GSM, GSM data
etc. They further need to be tested. The controls have been developed for
on Windows CE and Windows 95.

Role -
Designed, developed and implemented the Active X controls for various
communication channels - wire, gsm, TCP/IP etc.

including pocket pc and PDA's. Star Browser is a customized browser on the
lines of Internet Explorer. The browser has the added functionality to
display banner adverts delivered from an online advert engine known as TAS
(Targeted Advertising System). TAS delivers banner advertisement to the
browser based on the criteria/preference specified by the surfer.

provides relationship optimization sol! utions, providing decision-makers
with actionable, real-time intelligence to understand and satisfy the needs
of customers, employees, partners, and other key audiences. The Project
involved capturing essential interaction data from the web, email, call
centre, and other channels, and present that information directly to
decision-makers, quickly enabling a true 360-degree view of business
relationships.

Role -

Developed ISAPI Filter responsible for filtering the incoming requests of
browsers, against specific surveys, filtering those requests depending on
criteria that include IP Address blocking, email blocking as well as for
load balancing on the web server.

Developed the Cache Server (an ActiveX exe) responsible for caching all the
surveys, their nth count at a central place and validating survey requests
coming from various Invite Servers (ISAPI Filters) installed on various ! Web
Servers.
