| Scorching sunshine brought out the crowds at the Castle Grounds which turned into a mini Glastonbury on Saturday with one of the best attended Tamworth Festivals in years. More than 500 people lapped up the rays while watching some of the best musical acts the town has to offer in the course of 7 hours all after noon..... After hearing their self proclaimation that 'they sound exactly like nobody else' I was curious to see if this was true, and I was certainly not disappointed. As soon as I thought I had their sound pinned down, they veered off in a totally different direction and sounded like something else. They manage to be eclectic and different without becoming inaccessible which is definitely part of their appeal. Review by Phil Whiteside and Richard J Kirk. |
