Nearly 400 people crammed into the Assembly rooms on Friday night to see the cream of the rock and pop scene battle to see which band was best. Six bands were left to fight it out after nine heats and three semis had whittled down the number from the original 36 who entered 3 months ago....
Mogul had only been around for a short time before the competition started and were probably expected to do the least. As it was, they performed their hearts out and many commented on their obvious enjoyment at playing, coupled with great tunes that could have been the deciding factor in their victory....
In the end Mogul took top honours in a contest which judges described as incredibly difficult to choose between the acts. |
