More Stuff About Me
I have but one passion in my life.  Racing, my whole life I've been into it.  Hell you could say it's in my blood.  My grand pa use to race modifies on a figure 8 track.  My dad use to help my grand pa build cars.  And when my grand pa gave up racing, he built cars for people.  So yeah I've got a little bit of it in me.  This passion has pushed to try to find a better way to be more involved.  I tried drag racing once.  But it seems that to build a good motor for drag racing requires more money then you need to buy a house.  So that idea went up in smoke.  I've looked into auto crossing.  But that idea doesn't look promising either.  You need a good car with a great suspension before you can even start to work on that.  So that idea was put to a halt next idea what drift racing.  Not enough of it in the US for me to pursue it enough.  Well, damn doesn't leave much does it.  Next comes my new interest of life.  Motorcycles.  At the age of 14 I saw my first Yamaha YZF 1000 R which later was dropped and the Yamaha YZF R1 which in 98 took over and that year everyone saw it for the first time, and was the most impressive thing ever.  My love for bikes elevated to a new high.  For the next 5 years I would scour the dealers in hopes to get my hands on something.  But due to lack of credit I would fail on that part.  Summer of 2002 I would get my first chance to see what it felt like to be on a sports bike.  Being the mechanic that I am, my friend hired me to do his yearly tune up.  In return I got to take a ride on his bike.  That day I swore that in a year I would have one of my own.  Winter of 2002 came and my plan to have a bike was getting closer.  By spring of 2003 I was ready to get one.  But still with my credit lacking I would be unable to obtain one.  Scouring through the local adds and ebay luck found me a bike.  On June 7th 2003 I had a bike.  Found it in the cycle trader, it was wrecked but it was worth it.  I sent the deposit, and on June 16th I picked it up and brought it home.  My dreams realized and almost complete.  August of 2003 it was complete and on the road.  Well, with this part of my life in full swing.  I started investigating bike racing.  It turns out that it's a little less expensive to prep and race a bike then to race cars.  So with that in mind.  I started looking into it, and over the next several months I would start the revision of making my bike suitable for the track. But as it stands it's one year later and my bike still hasn't seen any track time.  But it's getting closer, and my passion still grows for racing.  but the point of this whole thing was passions.  If you have one then go out and live for it, if not then find one.  I found mine and now I'm trying to live it, it's what makes me happy.  Open tracks, large crowds, and competition.  Don't just sit there, live your dreams, life doesn't knock on the door, you have to run out and tackle it.
Here are some more pics of my bike..... hope you like them..... more stuff to come
