| Hello, everyone. My name is Yuko. I am a university student. I belong to literature and study English language and culture and I take a course of Japanese teacher. |
| Now, let me talk about my interests. I woukd like to mention three things that I like. |
| First of all, I like javasparrows. I had a white java sparrow(named Pichan and he lived for 12 years. Now I have a sakura java sparrow (named bunchan) and a silver java sparrow (named Poppochan). I like to play with them. As I love them, I went to Hawaii, Magic Island and looker for them there. There were many wild java sparrows. I was very happy |
| I also like using Internet. I can get any kinds of information from here. I particularly like bbs site, 2channel. You can find many grounds from current topics to meeting your taete. There is my school thread. If you are interested in this site, it is worth to have a look |
| My third interest is reading. Polite literature and popular literature. Especially, I like Ellery Queen's detective stories. I want to buy all of them, but very few is in aused bookstores. |
| Now, let me talk about my hometown. I grew up in Sapporo, which is the seat of prefectural govement in Hokkaido. There are about 2 million residents. It's the biggest city in Hokkaido and one of the ordinance-designed cities. There're hokkaido office and hokkaido inoversity. The food industories like beer and dairying are famous. Lately many Taiwanese and Chinese tourists visit here. In fact I saw a lot of travel brochures in taiwan. Sapporo is famous for Ramen. Most visitors want to eat seafood or miso ramen. I don't know wht it's so popular, but Ramen-yokocho is always packed with them. If you have a chance to go to Sapporo, you should visit the following places. First, you should definitely try to go to snow festival in Odori park. It's the giggest event in winter. You can see many kinds of snow statues. Illuminations are also one of the highllights of the festival. You should also try Sapporo clock tower. It's a national important cultural property. Originally, it was the place for military arts of Sapporo agriculture school. |
