| I saw the Moffatts on september 30 | ||||
| I had read on the official German website that the Moffatts were going to perform in Mnster, Germany on saturday, september 30. I live in Belgium, about three hours driving away from Mnster, so I begged my parents if they would drive me to Germany. So they drove me to Germany that saturday! :) I was in the HMV CD shop where the Moffatts were going to perform at 12:00, and the Moffatts would be there at 1pm. I thought I was way too late and that the CD shop was already going to be jam packed with Moffatt fans, but there was only one girl waiting already. At about 10 to one, some people of the CD shop were getting the stage ready. They appearanlty had never done that before, because it lasted about 15 minutes before they were finally ready. Frank (the Moffatts' dad) came in the shop at about 5 past one, he put on the mikes and the boxes and he put Scott's guitar on the stage. At about half past one, the elevator next to the stage opened and the Moffatts were finally there!!!! I had never seen them before, and I thought I would gte hystarical and I was afraid that I would faint if I'd see the guys, but I stayed pretty quiet! Scott took his guitar (it was on acoustic concert) Scott: "We're gonna sing four songs now, off our new album 'Submodalities' wich comes out on october 2, so don't forget to buy it!" Clint: "The first song we're gonna sing is one of my fave sonngs on our new album. It's called 'Walking behind'." The guys sang 'Walking behind'. Their voices sounded so beuatiful, they have improved a lot since 'Chapter 1'! Bob: "We wrote this next song in San Fransisco. We saw lots of people there who's lives got ruined by drugs, so we wrote a song about it. It's called 'Antifreeze and Aeroplanes'. They sang 'Antifreeze and Aeroplanes', wich is my fave song on 'Submodalities'. Meanwhile Frank put glasses with water for the guys on the stage. Sheila (their stepmom) was sitting next to the stage. Dave: "Hallo!!! Seit ihr alle gut drauf? Danke, das ihr alle gekommen seit! Dis ist i-under neue single hier in Deutschland, Bang Bang Boom!" (means: Hi! Are you all in a good mood today? Thanx for coming, everybody! Here's our new single here in Germnay, Bang Bang Boom!) They guys sang Bang Bang Boom, everybody sang along. Scott: "We wrote the next song about lazy people. It's actually about us, we are very lazy. We were also exhausted at the time, so we wrote this song about how we felt. It's gonna be our next single here in Germany, it's called 'Just Another Phase'. They sang just another phase. Everybody started clapping when Scott sang really long 'I'm bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiind'. Scott: "We're now gonna be signing autographs right there. Don't forget to come to our tour wich starts at october 9..." Bob: "November 9" Scott: "Sorry, november 9. And don't forget to buy our new album 'Submodalities'! I got their autographs twice! :) They were really nice (especially Dave and Clint) I told Clint that I came all the way from Belgium and he smiled and said "That's great! Belgium's cool!" :-) After the autograph session the Moffatts went back in the elevator, so I ran up the stairs and saw Bob coming out of the elevator on the first floor. I said 'Bye!', he smiled at me and said 'Bye!' :-) Then I waited outside for the Moffatts, and the guys, Frank and Sheila came out of a door and got into their car. I waved at Dave, and he smile dand waved back :) It was so great to see the Moffatts, I love them even more than I used to, and I think they're the best band ever!!!!! I'll never forget that day! Moffatts forever!!!!!!!!!! Note: I took lots of pictures, click here to see them.. You can buy my pictures for one $/picture. The pictures I took are really clear, I was on the first row.
