Set in the rolling Montgomeryshire countryside, Tan-y-Foel nestles at the foot of Moelbentyrch, the prominent local landmark that lends its name to our stud.
Established in 1992, Moelbentyrch Stud is now producing prize-winning Welsh Mountain Ponies (Section A) as well as quality, small riding ponies.
We have also started breeding Welsh Ponies of Cob Type (Section C).
In addition to the stud, we run a breaking and schooling yard for riding and driving horses and ponies.
