NEVER HURT A LOVE THAT LOVES
A pyscadelic song, the big finale to the set, a huge climax. A rockin' riff which features at the start and middle f the song encaptures the rockin' psycadelic mood of the song, the reni style drumming and Indian style chord pattern and lyrics creates a fetching little number. The second half degenerating into a huge feedback fest and stupid noise heaven, a huge Keith Moon fill session.
Matt: I originally wrote this song about this girl called Nikki, she was tellin' me about she liked these two lads, one was really nice to her but she didn't like him as much as this lad who was sometimes nice to her but most of the time he was really hurtful, she gave me a lot of the lyric and the title, o yeh and Kula Shaker!
Thanks Nikki.
I love psycadelic surreal stuff, 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Strawberry Fields Forever' for example, and I'd love it if at least one person who heard this would turn round at the end and just say 'What The Fuck Was That!'
Nathan: I love a good long dramatic endin' to an album, like Champagne Supernova. It may sound like Dear Prudence or Get Away, but when you've got so many great inspirations, how can you not tea leaf a few songs.
Chris: Love the Indian lyrics right at the start Matt, as you do like Buddhism and all that crap, I do understand! Its a great end to a set and also a super ending to any album! The live version of this is best!!!! All the songs are great! Well done Matt n nath who provide some great guitaring and the vocals! Great stuff youths!
