BRITISH BULLDOGS (PART I)

The opening track of the set is the first of the two parts that use the title, 'British Bulldogs'.

Taking the opening riff and solo from the classic Beatles track 'Hey Bulldog' creating some what of a brilliant overture to the next track, 'The Summer'.

The opening piano notes of the Beatles song are replaced by a raw Jam-like guitar riff then the trebly bass, drums and extra guitars are introduced slowly to build up the tension. When the song gets into gear the loose solo is introduced, until all the instruments begin fade back down until the song is cut off quickly and everyone is ready and mad for the next track.
Nicely into 'The Summer'

Matt: I fell in love with the Beatles song the first time I heard it and wanted to use the riff, so I quickly learnt it, but I played it wrong so it's like i've stamped my own identity on it, and when I came to write the words I thought "No, I can't do any better than 'Big man walking in the park/ Wig wam frightened of the dark' so I'll just leave it as an instrumental", and it has worked out fine.

Nathan: It's a typical Beatles tune, great riff and a stompin' beat. Well worth a place on any CD.

Chris: This catchy tune, with The Beatles guitar riff which will have music lovers wanting to hear more.
